This construction-experienced project manager is responsible for the oversight of our whole-house rehab projects. These projects consist of creating safe and affordable housing in our community by taking a vacant and dilapidated house, gutting it to the studs, and fully restoring the home with a modern floorplan, energy-efficient construction, new mechanicals and finishes, and maintenance-free exteriors. Our homes are sold to hard-working families of modest income and proceeds are used for future projects.
These projects are completed with a combination of volunteers and licensed subcontractors working together, so good interpersonal skills are needed along with proven construction planning and project management experience. Licensed as a Residential General Contractor in Evansville/Vanderburgh County is a plus.
This individual works independently in the office environment, on the construction worksite, and out in the community developing and sustaining program partnerships. Either full time or part time, hourly or salary, will be considered based on candidate preference, experience, and ability.
